Bug Description
What happens / how to reproduce: Some months ago I found that the Nemo option, 'Run executable text files when they are opened' does not do what it says but rather makes double-clicking on the relevant types of files do nothing at all. At one point, selecting that option worked briefly but only briefly. At the moment, selecting the option immediately causes the problem just described. (And, yes, I have set the executable bit of the relevant files.)
What should happen: The option should do what it says!
My system: Linux Mint 17 x64 Cinnamon (Rebecca, but problem pre-dates my installation of Rebecca).
Thanks for your time and effort!

I am running 17.1 x64 Cinnamon and it is working correctly for me. Both for a shell script .sh and when I rename it to .txt (leaving executable bit set). This is Nemo 2.4.4.
