Bug Description

On my system, after selecting Driver Manager from the menu and entering my password, there is a 20-second delay between the time that the password dialogue box hides and the Driver Manager window appears.

This gave me the initial impression that the operation failed (e.g. a bad password was entered, or no window is supposed to appear).

Looking at the source for mintDrivers.py, the reason for this delay is not obvious to me; I see the code as trying to show the main window as soon as it starts. Otherwise, I would suggest some sort of intermediate "please wait" window as a possible solution.
