Bug Description

Hi Team, it's such a sad situation that we have Mint 15 yet, to play any form of video in full screen, the picture freezes and the mouse control does not function that i am having to use Ctrl + Esc to exit from the freeze, i have reinstalled Mint 15 but, still the same problem even after too many updates and checking for updates that i have to revert back to Mint 14 to play dvd films or youtube. The problem i find with any form of Linux, no matter how long i use it for, i can't help feeling that all i want is a system that i do not have to worry about should i want to install a program or play my dvd films, now i understand as to how your team wants people to move from microsoft windows and to enjoy Mint 15 but, i have to be honest, it makes me wonder if the move is really worth the trouble even as i am still using Mint 14 and 15, due to these little bugs and the time it is taking to get a fix for them, myself and i think many other people are looking at moving back over to microsoft windows as we don't find it that easy to solve these problems and i certainly don't, that is the beauty of microsoft windows and thats where it does leave linux behind.
Linux as my main and only OS on my computer looks quite short time as i am running out of patience and i would think so are othere people that do try Linux Mint. i fully understand my OS was a free download but, to ask people to donate money when we find such problems as playing full screen video is a bit hard to swallow, the one OS that i did pay for was Zorin OS, very much like windows 7 and very nice to use but, once again i move back to Mint 14 and 15 yet, i find we are having this problem as to full screen video. Microsoft Windows 8 may have some problems as to cost of software and a few bugs but, damn so easy to use compared to Linux Mint where i don't have to keep swapping hard drives over to play video's, the question is, now that Mint 15 has been out and used by many, just how long will it be before this problem is sorted by your team ?.

VLC and VP9 (webm)
I'm finding that VLC constantly freezes when trying to move fast forward or reverse in a movie decoded in VP9 (webm).
Even when I'm playing the movie, i find that the picture will just deteriorate into a total blur while sound continues to play.
I first thought it was my graphics card, but if i drag and drop the file into Chrome, it plays fine.
