Hot corners do not work properly with dual monitors. Regardless of the hot corner setting, the top left corner of the secondary monitor is always a hot corner. The left corners of the primary monitor will respond when a left hot corner is set, but not the bottom left of the secondary monitor. The right corners of the secondary monitor will respond when setting a right hot corner, but never on the primary monitor. The icon and "wave" notifications do not appear consistently in the expeected places.
I really like Cinnamon, BTW -- you all have done a great job. Just want to report the problems.
I have the same problem on a new mint box pro, with dual monitors.
I want to turn off the hotspot in the top left hand corner that switches desktops. Several times a day I move the mouse there when going to the file menu in Firefox for example, and if I overshoot the mouse pointer FF minimises and I have to re-open the desktop.
If I go to Menu >Preferences >Cinnamon Settings > Hot Corner, i saw that 'Hot corner enabled' is ticked, and Hot corner position is Top Left.
I uncheck the Hot corner enabled box and close the dialogue, but the hot corner is still active in the top left corner of my screen.
If I go to Menu >Preferences >Cinnamon Settings > Hot Corner again I see that 'Hot corner enabled' is now not ticked which shows that the change was saved, but nothing has actually changed as far as the 'Hot corner' being dissabled.
