Firefox about:home search is not working

Bug Description
On default firefox homepage - about:home the search is not working - nothing is happening after pressing enter or clicking search.
Tested on MInt 12 and 13 (if I remember correctly on Mint 11 too) 64bit, Firefox 10 to 13 and probably earlier too, on my profile, new profile and Live CD and on friends computer.
