Hello,
Since updating to linux 3.8-rc3 my CPU is clearly overheating compared to linux 3.7.
kernel Idle Busy (VLC playing, Chromium open with several tabs)
3.7 46°C 51°C
3.8-rc3 54° 61°C
Diff +8°C +10°C
There is no problem with CPU load, in both case it stay around the same percentage.
NB: I wanted to use ubuntu-bug to report this bug but for some reason it thinks my linux kernel come from mainline when it comes from the ubuntu repositories. So, if I need to complete this bug report with logs, please inform me.
