Bug Description
1-) Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon 64 bit
2-)Using an Nvidia Pascal ( Gtx 10 series ) and using any prop driver is enough to reproduce it.
3-) After installing Nvidia drivers from driver manager , selecting which gpu to use via Nvidia Prime applet or from terminal hangs all system when logging out or restarting. You cannot even enter TTY.
Problem is also affecting other people too:

That issue is reproduceable with also Maxwell gpu's and Skylake cpu laptops.
Our local Mint forum has affected people besides me.
