Bug Description
When locking using "dm-tool lock", the greeter runs as expected. After unlocking, the lightdm process lingers, and they start to build up as the computer is locked throughout the day. This is a significant problem when a resource-heavy lightdm-
I am not completely sure it's the greeter's fault, but this bug page on lightdm's launchpad suggests some things greeters can do to eliminate the problem:
