Double notification in TB 3

Bug Description

After successfully installing the last release of libnotify in Thunderbird 3, both notifications (old thunderbird and libnotify) appear. No clues about why this happen.

Thank you for your bug report. You can disable the default Thunderbird notifications by going to Edit->Preferences->General and disable "Show an alert". Now Libnotify will take care of the alerts.
I will alter the plugin so that this is the default behaviour, as would be expected.

I have committed a fix to the trunk branch, could you please test it to see if it works?
Just open a terminal, type "bzr branch lp:libnotify-mozilla", then "cd libnotify-mozilla" and finally "./build.sh". This will generate a .xpi file which you can install in Thunderbird. Thanks in advance!

mmm... unfortunately it does not work.
Also tried to uninstall the add-on and reinstalled the patched one, but
I still have to disable the alert from the preferences.
