Bug Description

Some XApps are terminal-based (as indicated by Terminal=true in their .desktop file), but (a)there is no guarantee there is a terminal app installed and (2) there is no support for launching a terminal app with those applications. An example of a terminal app is Midnight Commander.

Any solution should detect if there is a terminal app installed in the container and handle the launching appropriately, otherwise the apps should end up on a blacklist in the libertine scope.

This should be fixed by new features in U-A-L to launch terminal applications.

The solution we came up with previously involved opening up a native terminal app with our application instead of depending on a a libertine-installed terminal. With the ubuntu-terminal-app going into the main image, we may soon be able to actually make this happen. Then again, it may still be prudent to double-back on the idea of launching terminal apps completely from within the confines of the container.
