I didn't see any comments with regards to what caused this crash to occur.

For me, this crash occurred when I turned-off the wifi / bluetooth hardware switch on my Thinkpad t60 laptop. At the time, I was connected to both my wired (and, apparently) my wireless connection.

The bluetooth applet crashed immediately after turning-off the hardware switch.
