Bug Description
It'd be useful if there was a standard way to obtain a Launchpadlib object from a human readable Launchpad URL. This would be useful for e.g. bug 682149.
I realize this is possible using some URL manipulation and launchpad.lp_load, but it'd be great if there was a standard (and more discoverable) way of doing this.
In some ways I guess this would do the inverse of what bug 316694 is requesting.
