multiple spaces collapsed in bug display

In the display of bug #34339 at
 https://launchpad.net/malone/+bug/34339
the multiple spaces between the X and the remainer of each line in my mail message have been collapsed, making the display of the body nearly incomprehensible.

To explain what I mean, I will attach screenshots of the web browser and my email client.

For example, the line starting "X___From:_Ian_Jackson..." near the top is displayed as if it started "X_From:_Ian_Jackson..." (where in each case I have replaced spaces with underscores so that the difference can be visible despite this bug).
