Bug Description
The Launchpad automatic translation imports are awesome, but they don't modify po/LINGUAS. So .po files get added and modified, but new languages aren't used without manual intervention (see bug #767295 for translations that were missed in simple-scan until someone noticed).
Suggestion: When the translations are updated, if po/LINGUAS exists then make sure there are entries for each .po file that was modified/added.
