It should be possible to mark products as abandoned and perhaps be able to indicate suggestions of active projects to try.
I can understand that there is no "delete" button for products, as they can still be of historical interest, in particular for developers, but it can be very confusing to the user looking for a product if there are 3 or 4 products listed out of which only one ends up being still active.
A good example of this are GTK+ frontends to Bazaar. There are 5 registered on launchpad (bzrk, bzr-gtk, gannotate, olive-gtk, nautilus-bzr, gbzr) but the major lump of these isn't useful at all and 99% users will thus have trouble finding something that actually works. |
