Stacking branch of code hosting branches not updated after rename

Bug Description

lp:linaro-image-tools used to be lp:~linaro-maintainers/linaro-image-tools/linaro-image-tools
~doanac proposed merging lp:~doanac/linaro-image-tools/overo-support into it
I renamed lp:~linaro-maintainers/linaro-image-tools/linaro-image-tools to lp:~linaro-maintainers/linaro-image-tools/trunk

Now I can't bzr merge lp:~doanac/linaro-image-tools/overo-support:

(I've obviously worked around by pushing a copy to the old location, doing the merge; I can't delete the copy though as it says many branches share revisions with it...)
