2012-01-06 21:32:07 Robert Collins description cron.daily-ppa is currently taking 2.5 hours to complete, which is blocking the PPA publisher. It's being caused by the fact that the PPA tree has got 1.2 million directories in it and the "find" command that prunes empty directories is getting rather busy. The high number of directories is because the dists tree on each PPA has got non-main components and architectures other than the PPA-supported architectures. Obsolete distroseries are still on disk but we need another strategy for getting rid of those since some (crazy) people are still using them. cron.daily-ppa is currently taking 2.5 hours to complete, which is blocking the PPA publisher.
