subscription behaves strangely when duplicates exist

Bug Description

The ubuntu-security team is subscribed to several bugs that have been marked as duplicates of 46034. The team was not originally subscribed to 46034, but I want it to be, and cannot do so (my only option is to unsubscribe).

So:
1) This link only offers the option of unsubscribing ubuntu-security:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-modules-2.6.17/+bug/46034/+subscribe
2) This link shows that there is no subscription to the bug:
https://launchpad.net/people/ubuntu-security/+subscribedbugs

I'd like 46034 to show up on the #2 URL, since that's a list I review for checking on pending security bugs. :)

(Would a valid work-around be to unsub ubuntu-security and then re-subscribe it? I didn't want to do the mass-unsub the warning box warned me about...)
Thanks!

Hi Kees,

you could unsubscribe ubuntu-security and then subscribe only to 46034. That way the bug would be listed in ubuntu-security/+subscribedbugs, but ubuntu-security would be unsubscribed from all dupes of 46034.

Sorry about the inconvenience and thank you for reporting.

Ah-ha, that'll be perfect. Thanks, I've done that now. :)
