Bug Description
1) What I expected to happen is when I go to https:/
2) What happens instead is that when I try to add to add "gdm (ubuntu)" Launchpad notes:
There is no project in Launchpad named "gdm (ubuntu)". Please search for it as it may be registered with a different name.
However, clearly there is a project "gdm (ubuntu)" at https:/
As well, there is an upstream bugtracker to bug against at https:/

Hi, rusivi1.
There actually isn't a bug here, even though the click-path for doing this can be confusing. We do have open bugs for making the usage around adding tasks better. But to explain how this should work...
You're looking to add a bug task against the package gdm in Ubuntu, not the project "gdm (Ubuntu)". So normally, you would not click "Also affects project". You would instead click "also affects distribution" and fill in the "package" field with "gdm". However, the bug you are concerned about already has a task for Ubuntu without the package specified. You should now click the triangle/arrow icon next to "Ubuntu" in the affects table and add "gdm" in the package field and click "Save changes". This will get you the task against gdm in Ubuntu that you want.
Cheers,
