Package in New isn't displayed on package page

Bug Description

If I go to a package page like https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kbackup and toggle open a section like 0.7-0ubuntu1, it doesn't show the package is in binary new. It shows "i386" with the built icon. If I go to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kbackup/0.7-0ubuntu1 it shows "i386 (New)". This should show up the same way on the main package page too.
