"Also affects: Distribution…" is confusing for assigning a bug to packages

Bug #55441 reported by Andrew Conkling

Bug Description

When a bug affects multiple packages (e.g. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/1), to add a package one must click on "Also affects: 'Distribution'." However, this is not intuitive, as one (like I ;) may think this means that the bug affects the same package in different distributions, whereas one may want to assign it to a different package in the same distribution.

I think that "Package" could replace "Distribution" in this case, but even showing both words would be better than it is currently, in my opinion.

The logic, in my head at least, is that every package is in a distribution, so selecting a distro is implicit in saying that a bug affects another package.

Hi Andrew,
do you think this could be a dupe of 1334? When that bug is fixed the problem you reported here will go away.

Yes, I would agree. Reading it a bit more closely, it does seem that that fix would nullify this bug.
