People with accented names are not found in searches for ASCII names

Searching for "Krzysztof Kosinski" in people does not return "Krzysztof Kosiński" (with n-acute) as a result. I had to remove the accented letter from my name - otherwise people trying to assign bugs to me would instead find a dead automatically created account without the accented letter in the name.

It would be very useful if searches also turned up people with accented names, for example searching for "Guenter" or "Gunter" should also return people named Günter in results.
