Bug Description
XaraLX has been asking their translators to sign some kind of document related to the legalsee of the project. They are now in the process of moving to Launchpad/Rosetta.
The XaraLX guys were asking me if it'd be possible to have Launchpad present users with a document which they have to sign (or click on 'Yes, I agree', etc.) before they join a XaraLX translation team.
I think the CoC signing infrastructure could be used to introduce such functionality.
From Mark Shuttleworth in bug 272826:
"As part of these changes, we would make it so:
- people can upload their own agreements or contracts, and
- you can specify that they need to be agreed to before you can be a member of a particular team
"So, we'd make it easier to workflow people joining ubuntumembers (and other teams) and we would also generalise the capability for other organisations with similar requirements.
"So, for example, you could say 'make sure anyone who wants to land code in zope has signed the contributors agreement'."
