Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit a branch page (e.g. https:/
2. Click "subscribe yourself".
3. Watch as your name is not entered into the subscriber list.
4. Refresh to see your name in the subscriber list.

This is caused by bug 447453. I'm not sure what the protocol is for this, but I'm going to opt for marking this as a duplicate of that one, so we can still track progress on that issue without having an open bug for Code (because it's not a Launchpad Code issue).
