Bug Description

As you can see in the attached screenshot, I have no karma, but I have more than 27000.

I've seen something similar before, but it always goes away after a while.

IIRC it has always been around this same time - does the cache update cron job run around now?

I'm marking this incomplete. This issue needs watching. I believe that recent changes to translation karma may be causing the karma calculation task take to long. There are already concerns that recalculating karma takes to much memory.

I think this was caused by the extra work to normalise the data. It was a temporary event.

I got this weird message today that my karma has expired on edge.lp. I took a screenshot and it's attached.

I'd been wondering how this happened, as transactions should prevent what has been seen. Indeed they would, but there is this lovely bit in cronscripts/foaf-update-karma-cache.py:

        self.txn.set_isolation_level(ISOLATION_LEVEL_AUTOCOMMIT)

I'll be reversing the direction of the duping. Even though this ticket is much older, I believe bug 878403 is more appropriate to go forward since it has the requested information.

Yes. The script did not run since 2012-11-08 .
