Bug Description
Right now when a string is submited it it checked for the presence of special string replacement characters like %s or %d.
I whould like to see a similar checking for ending characters like "." , ":", ",".
I know that spanish languages have starging and ending question mark and this complicates the implementation.
Maybe this feature requires a filter for each language. For the japanese translation the dot is another character "。" , but the character ":" is unchanges.
Many thanks!
