Bug Description

For my project https://code.launchpad.net/viking

it has an import branch https://code.launchpad.net/~rw-norris/viking/trunk

which is an import of the HEAD branch of the Git repository at https://github.com/viking-gps/viking.git

Previously this has successfully run; but as of 2020-06-15 the import has started failing, with the import log having this error:

AssertionError: Invalid sha for <Commit 3be63407b1fb87abf3a26989431ce7ef19eda618>: 54eb115043606bbc28dbe959fdef15392ba78818

I do not recognize commit 3be63407b1fb87abf3a26989431ce7ef19eda618, so I don't understand why this failure is occurring.
