core/snapcraft channel selection doesn't apply in snap build

Bug Description
Reproduce instructions:
1. Create a snap package
1. Toggle the "Automatically build when branch changes" checkbox in the snap edit page
1. Set the "snapcraft" field of the "Source snap channels for automatic builds" form to `edge` or `latest/edge`
1. Save the settings
1. Trigger a snap build
Expected behavior:
Launchpad installs the snapcraft snap from the edge channel during build.
Current behavior:
Launchpad installs the snapcraft snap from the `stable/
