sign off with a message like this:
Regards,
The Launchpad team
or
Thanks,
Launchpad
or similar.
This is often misleading: if an email sent by the site makes someone angry, it's almost certain that contacting the Launchpad team will not help. There are also situations (covered in bug #154627) in which the email contains text written by a human user of the site, and the signoff makes it confusing who's talking. mpt recommends getting rid of the sign-off altogether.

I've remove the one about names, because that appears to have been changed in most of the templates I saw, its still in the original description if someone wants to dig when they look at this bug. If relevant, I suggest a separate bug for that issue anyhow.
