System error - Sign a Code of Conduct

Error occured with GnuPG 1.2.1, updated my version to GnuPG 1.2.2 and now it works!

Would be nice if you can tell me the time it occurred, then I can browse the Error Logs looking for further information about the error. Anyway the GPG related code was redesigned this week and the coding is pending review, the ETA is tomorrow ;)

The bug happened for me, two minutes ago (18:20 UTC or so).

I wonder if you had a "System Error", because I could not retrieve it arround the time you said, but hopefully most of the problems accomplishing GnuPG version format might be better treated in the new releases of the code. I'll continue to investigate why some signatures can't be verified and if you can try to reproduce the bug again. Thank you both for the feedback.

You both should retry to Sign the CoC now, the current version should fix this issue.

Why does need to sign the CoC. I am still trying to figure out if it is needed to file bug reports. But currently gpg just outputs "
gpg: no default secret key: secret key not available
"

Clearly some magic is required - butit is not clear what

Signing the CoC is required to become an Ubuntero, which is a distinctive rank in the Ubuntu community. It is required for people that want to contribute code to the distribution. It is not a requirement that you sign the CoC to file bugs or contribute translations.
