Bug Description
I'd have to suggest an addition to the features within Rosetta to speed up translation as most strings are repetitions of already translated strings. I'd suggest taking a look at OmegaT's features of fuzzy matching which matches similar (not only identical) strings to help translate them. (As I have noticed that the matching feature in Rosetta only matches identical strings.) The matching propagation feature would complement this by translating all identical strings (and I mean all the identical strings on all of Ubuntu's packages,) therefore speeding up the translations of Ubuntu and whatever other packages existing on Launchpad Rosetta.
OmegaT is on SourceForge: http://
We actually have a blueprint about implementing this: https:/ /blueprints. edge.launchpad. net/rosetta/ +spec/rosetta- fuzzy-merge
However, this is significant work, and will take a while.
