Bug Description
When a branch can be merged cleanly, there's no reason not to include a button to just merge it in the merge proposal page. The “other site” does it and people are used to the feature, and it saves quite a bit of time.
Conditions:
- User viewing the page has commit access to the target branch
- Branches would merge without conflicts
- Commit message is filled
- Branch is approved (optional? maybe reduce one step by not requiring this?)
Results:
- Branch is merged into target branch, using given commit message, and current user as committer
- Proposal is marked “merged”
- Source branch is marked “merged”
