Bug Description
I have really old photo as avatar on LP so decided to change it to one which I use on other websites. But LP requires me to provide 64x64 and 192x192 sizes...
Can it take what I give and just scale it to fit size? Would be easier for most of people I think.

It would be yes, but at present we don't have any plans in the future for this, however if someone wanted to get involved and submit a patch then we would work with them
