I've created a fork of the landscape-server trusty charm that installs cleanly on Xenial & Trusty and updates some calls to psutils to be compatible with newer versions, as well as installing the right apache packages. I've linked it to this bug.

I'm not super clear on the split between landscape-charm and landscape-server, but the linked landscape-server charm is installing on Xenial and backward compatible.
