Bug Description
Reproduced the bug in latest stable Chrome for Mac (44.0.2403.125), running in an incognito window against a clean build from the develop branch (make clean-all devel). Steps to reproduce:
1. Drag-n-drop the juju-gui charm onto the canvas.
2. Confirm and deploy (leaving unplaced).
3. Switch to machine view.
4. Click on the Autodeploy button.
You should now have a wide middle column.
