Deleting a machine leaves it hanging in the GUI until ack from Juju

Bug Description
On an ec2 environment you can go and delete a machine using the machine view. The machine will then say that the machine will be removed once you commit the changes. After committing the changes the machine will stay there with the warning for at least 10s until Juju comes back with the ack that it has been marked for deletion. It appears to the user that the GUI is broken because they can no longer delete or commit any changes and the machine is still there.

I think the thing here is that middle 'working' state. I'd not like to remove the machine before the ack, but understand the confusion.
