Cookie notification doesn't disappear unless clicked

I think this would not meet the legal requirements of the cookie policy legislation. I believe the user has to dismiss the notification. Would be worth asking Katherine if this is ok before developing it. It might be worth also asking if we can remove it all together as the GUI is bound to run on your own systems.

I looked into this as it's a common complaint of our guys doing demos. So, the thing was that on jujucharms.com it's something we host. Then, if we run an environment it's something we collect info on. Now, users can remove the Google Analytics code, but my understanding is that as long as we have GA running on the GUI instance "we're" collecting data and need to notify users and gain approval.

As for the fade out, that one is not something I've seen explicitly called out but it seems a bit dubious.

Maybe it redesigned and moved higher so it doesn't cover the deployer bar then. We could have it appear just above in a bubble or a notification in the top right of the canvas or something. I just think with the new deployer bar going in that it's masking quite an important element. What happens if someone never dismisses it and they can't deploy lol

Oh I agree it's a pain. I've marked this as incomplete so we can get an idea and maybe updated design together and fix it properly. I think that the timeout based auto hiding is a non-starter for a first pass.
