Bug Description
similar but not identical to bug #348987, I would like to be able to have a floating utility-type window that displays a pretty histogram of the loudness of frequencies at the current cursor position.
This would allow:
- a pretty visual overview of the sound
- being able to determine more easily on what frequencies a certain noise is (without running a "selection analysis" like in bug #348987)
- complementing the real-time adjustment of various filters, such as the equalizer or low/high band filters (which have no visuals, only a bunch of sliders, not so easy to use)
- eye candy for demos ;)
This should require:
- updating the histogram in realtime when playing back
- updating the histogram when not playing back but the timeline cursor position changed (ie, when scrubbing)
