Bug Description
[Summary] Desktop Manual tests for USB have you use a USB-C hub with an Ethernet port and test that Checkbox detects when you insert an Ethernet cable into the hub. Even though the cable is detected by Ubuntu, Checkbox says the test fails. However the interface is up and properly configured. It even passes the iperf3 tests later in the test run.
[Steps to reproduce]
Plug in a USB-C hub with an Ethernet port
Run the manual USB test for Ethernet Cable Insertion
When instructed, insert the cable
[Expected result]
The interface should become active and is properly configured under Ubuntu.
[Actual result]
Checkbox says the test fails.
[Failure rate]
100%
