Bug Description

[Summary]If you tell the system to suspend, the screen blanks, and you have a frozen cursor in the upper left corner. The keyboard and mouse are on, but unresponsive. The system does not go into suspend and cannot resume. The fan is still spinning, the onboard LEDs are still on. You must hard-reboot the system.

[Steps to reproduce]
Power -> Suspend

[Expected result]
System should go into suspend mode, and be able to be woken up with keyboard or mouse

[Actual result]
Blank screen with frozen cursor. System does not suspend. Cannot resume.

Tried the patch as listed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/intel/+bug/1938413

Screen goes blank but the system does not go into true suspend. The fan and LEDs remain on as if the system is operating normally.

Using the mouse or keyboard, you are able to resume.

This was an old board and BIOS which eventually became non-operative.

Retesting with 5.13.0-1007 on CID: 202105-29104 does not have this issue.
