Bug Description
All EXIF data disappears after editing a photo in InstantFX.
This creates a small problem for Imaginario: without being able to see exif data (and in particular, the original timestamp of the photo) it cannot determine that the generated photo is a version of an existing one.
Once this is fixed, it will be possible to export one photo from Imaginario into InstantFX, edit it there, and once we re-import it back into imaginario it will be automatically detected as a duplicate and the user will be prompted to set it as a version of the existing image (or replace the existing image altogether).
To post a comment you must log in.
InstantFX creates a new picture (i.e. does not perform any change to the original photo), therefore all the data from the original photo get lost.
Next to the issue with Imaginario, I'd also say that EXIF data contains GPS informations and I may be useful to preserve them.
Marking as 'wishlist', since it has a lower priority for now.
Thanks for reporting the issue! :)
