Bug Description
Using Inkscape 0.48+devel r9861
OS = Windows XP sp2
Recreate procedure:
Create a line that contins only two nodes and let the line be either straight horisontal or straight vertical.
Now, try using "Fill and Stroke" --> "Stroke Style" and make it blur.
I can make the line blur, but ONLY if I insert a new node and make it so that the path get a bend.
