Bug Description
The measure path extension, when used to calculate the area of a path, uses the caret symbol and the digit 2 (^2) to show that the units are squared, for example 100 cm^2. Now that inkscape can produce real superscript and subscript, this extension should make use of that and emit correct superscript text.
I have attached a patch which will do this. It works for me with windows 7 and revision 9791 of trunk.
Please test this patch out and let me know if you have any trouble.
Thanks,
Craig
