Bug Description
When using the alignment buttons I find that I usually have to use two of them at a time.
examples:
* Pushing a decoration to the corners of a business card (top/right, top/left,
* Centering an image for a web button (center horiz./center vert.)
I don't want to see Inkscape's interface get cluttered up, but if this is a very common operation for more users, maybe it would be worth considering. It's only one extra click each time, but it's something I do a lot.
I've attached an inkscape file of how I imagined the new buttons might be laid out fairly logically. It would be similar to how
the 10-key bad was used in some old DOS games.
Hmmm. I really doubt that there is a real benefit in adding so much UI just to avoid one single click.
Seeking one-click operation for every tool always have a bad side effect: Clutter or a dumbed down UI.
Is a wishlist item, anyway.
