Bug Description
Using 0.91 r13725 in Ubuntu
As can be seen in this search:
https:/
drawing finite automata state transition diagrams requires the ability to connect a node to itself.
Trying to do it in 0.91 renders a zero-length connector in the center of the shape.
Using two equal superimposed shapes could be a workaround, but in this case when the shapes minimally overlap the UI renders nothing, and when the overlap is greater then it renders a connector from one center to the other, not from the edge of a shape to the edge of the other.
Additionally, the center-to-center arrow is unstable. Selecting the two shapes and hitting shift-downArrow corrupts it: the shapes move, the arrow stays. This doesn't happen without shift. Ctrol-A then Shift-downArrow crashes Inkscape.
Before filing this I asked a question in StackExchange: /graphicdesign. stackexchange. com/questions/ 105721/ how-can- i-draw- a-loopback- connector- using-inkscape- connectors

If there is a solution I'd like to post it there too, so it's public.
