Configurable Export Bounding Box for eps

Bug Description

I have a figure that I was working on for a presentation. There came a
point where it would be nice to provide a blown up version of a small
section of the original diagram. I realized that if I could just edit the
bounding box to only contain the region of interest I would be in business.
I then found that there is no real easy way of pulling this off. I think
it would be great of when you export through a vector filter like eps you
were prompted for the bounding box you want. It could just default to the
whole image. If I could then say, change bounding box and then it allows
me to draw a box selecting the region that I want. What do you all
think....

Basically changing the page size in Inkscape and then exporting to eps with "Use document's page size" can do this. Though I'm not sure if the eps files of Inkscape 0.91 are following the eps-standard 100 % in this case. As you probably will cut through some drawed elements with the page edge/bounding box, see attached .eps.
The standard is said to say "the bounding box that encloses all the marks painted on a particular page" http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/ps/5001.DSC_Spec.pdf page 53 and 39
Ignoring (or stretching) the standard to obtain desired results is also discussed in Bug #380501 - eps export always sets bounding box to drawing, never to whole canvas
