Bug Description
What about placing connectors side-by-side when
connecting two (or more) objects with more than one
connector? The best analogy is the way that bus &
subway maps are done. I have attached a mockup as an
example.
The thought is that if you have a complex flow chart
(or map) you may need to route through the same objects
more than once. Additionally, it would be pretty sweet
if you could then also set the spacing between the
connectors for a 'buffer' area (though it should
default to 0).
To me it seems like the most challenging parts would be
that it would have to deal with various line styles
(mainly line width), and also the ordering of "inside"
to "outside" (to remain consistant visually without
needing a whole lot of tweaking).
