wouldn't it possible, to add a special property to every object: "include in pdf... yes|no" or similar ?
and additionally (if possible to implement) a message like "check objects outside of..." when I want to save e.g. as pdf?

then I could do it as I want it to be done by hand.

p.s. my problem was, that I - too - thought, that a picture, that I put outside the page-area wouldn't be included in my pdf-file - and wondered about the huge pdf-file... :-) .
