Bug Description
Inkscape 0.92.0+
To reproduce:
- on new file, make an object (eg. circle)
- in the new "objects" dialog, change its blend mode to anything else than "normal" (tested with multiply, screen, darken) -> the selection box (dotted rectangle around the object when selected) becomes bigger. (The bounding box seems to remain the same, eg. for snapping).

Reproduced on Windows XP (32-bit), lp:inkscape/0.92.x rev. 15318.
The blend mode adds an SVG filters that applies to a filter effect region which is bigger than the object. But while it's necessary for some filters (blur, displacement map...), I'm not sure we really need it here.
Could a filters expert confirm?
