Bug Description
OS: WIndows 7 ProfessionalV6.1 build 7601 SP1
Inkscape 0.91
I recently purchased this graphics tablet for use with Inkscape for preparing some teaching lessons. My main usage is for handwriting / calligraphy.
It was working OK for me, but it did not work quite correctly as a mouse with other programs. I therefore started to make adjustments to the pen and table settings.
For the tablet settings I used the Huion driver software, which has settings for:
1. the functionality of the two buttons on the pen body.
2. pressure settings
3. Support Tablet PC
4. applicable display(s)
5. active area of the table
6. softkey settings
7. quick key settings
I also used the MS Pen and Touch control panel settings with the 'Enable pen and hold for right-clicking' unset.
I thought I had pretty well got there and could now operate the tablet for clicking, pulling scroll bars ... in programs on the desktop.
However, when I came to running Inkscape with it I seem to be getting a wierd setting. Hovering moves the pointer correctly, but pressing the nib acts like a right click and brings up a menu box.
It seems that some setting has been stored by an @Inkscape setting I changed, bu when changing back it has not been cleared.
At the moment if I hover over the table the cursor moves correctly and if I press the lower pen button it writes, but as soon as the pen is placed on the tabler surface it is as if a right-click occurs and brings up a menu.
This could be related to bug report #388078.
My next task is to uninstall Inkscape and see if it recovers on a fresh installation.
